Tune in and Switch on to QVC The Shopping Channel (640 Sky or 16 Freeview!)

Tonight, May 5th at 7pm and Saturday 8^th at 10am, (Channel 640 Sky, 16 Freeview) I’ll be presenting live on QVC The

Shopping Channel, selling beautifully designed and illustrated RHS (Royal Horticultural Society) candles, drawer liners,

reed diffusers and scented sachets for a whole hour!

I’m nervous but very excited as this is a dream come true! Three years ago I was shortlisted from thousands, in the QVC

Search for a Presenter and I’m already doing some presenting on the Painting and Drawing Channel with the  SAA and

Teaching Art Ltd, (Society of All Artists), but QVC is really special as it’s a massive, well established brand, in fact it’s the

USA’s second largest TV channel.

I’ll be broadcasting live from the QVC building (Marco Polo House) , Battersea, so I hope you can tune in and join me.

Wow! Such excitement in the Scott house this evening!

Hope you all enjoyed the programme!  I only wish I could afford that gorgeous watercolour set! Wasn't it beautiful? But as Paul Martin said, he's not in the business of buying me presents!  I'll have to sell a few more watercolours and wend my way to that rather lovely Petworth Antique shop.

SAA The society for all artists

The SAA, society for all artists, is for everyone with a love of painting. We believe in encouraging everyone, from complete novices and hesitant beginners to the legions of leisure painters and beyond...but the best thing is – the way we make you feel...informed, encouraged, inspired...and so pleased with your results. Over the next few months I’ll be presenting on their TV Channel, The Painting and Drawing Channel on Sky 166 or Freesat 402. Tune in on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays at 4.30 pm or Sunday at 5pm.

It's All About Art  - A three day event between 23rd and 25th July 2009

Yesterday I spent a brilliant day at the Business Design Centre Islington filming for the Society for all Artists fabulous event.

The venue was perfect; a magnificent example of Victorian engineering, similar to Paddington or Euston train stations. Opened in 1986, and formerly the Royal Agricultural Hall, the building was rescued from demolition in 1981 by entrepreneur Sam Morris and was fully restored and re-opened as the UK’s first integrated trade, exhibition and conference complex.

Within its light and airy wrought ironwork bubbled a creative tumult as painting demonstrations took place watched by wide eyed enthusiasts, with 'have a go' tables filling excitedly with artists of all ages and abilities. The atmosphere was electric and shopping bags quickly filled with all kinds of paint, paper, brushes, equipment, books and DVD's inspiring and enthusing keen artisans from all over the country. People really had come from far and wide to be part of this annual, and now exclusively in the BDC, art event.

I interviewed some amazingly talented artists as well as wonderfully enthusiastic and very lovely people. It was a joy to see the pride and suprise on the faces of people who'd never picked up a paint brush or pastel in their lives, beaming as they held up their own masterpiece of the day. Best of all, I came away freshly enthused and dying to try out some new painting techniques!
