Snow!

We've had an incredible amount of snow already this year, so Jack, Freya and I made good use of the school closure, setting about to build an igloo! Watercolour paintings had to be put on the back burner...I mean, back freezer....and the creative glacier creaked it's way across our Sussex garden. Freya was chief igloo builder, I made the bricks using a bucket, a bit like building sand castles, and Jack hauled sledgefuls of fresh snow to use as cement! Making sure there were ventilation holes, we built a couple of shelves for the candles and sat inside eating our dinner! The acoustics were amazing - it really was a little magical wonderland. Perhaps we really are related to Scott of the Antarctic!

I won't be long........

Despite the snow, there's always a warm welcome in the Sally Scott Studio!
